Richard Dunlop has been a member of St Kilda Triathlon Club for over 6 years and is as passionate about maintaining a healthy, strong body as he is about competing in triathlons. Having enjoyed a successful career in corporate leadership for more than 20 years, Richard’s journey into triathlon sparked his interest in how the body works, and how to fix it when it doesn’t!.
Having competed at 70.3 and Ironman distances for the last 5 years, including the 2022 IM 70.3 world championships in St George, Utah, and also run multiple marathons, Richard has built a personal understanding of body maintenance and the importance of muscle function and balance. As a Remedial Masseuse, Richard has been treating clients at the RMIT University Myotherapy and Remedial Massage Clinic and also with the AFLW players at Essendon Football Club. His clinic at St Kilda Triathlon Club and Locals Gym is available to all members Sports and Remedial Massage to help his clients achieve their goals and enjoy their sporting journey pain free.
Whether you are training for an Ironman or your first triathlon, aiming for a marathon or building up to your first ever 5km run, or if you are experiencing pain and just want to be active, Richard can help you start every training session as the best version of yourself.
Bookings will be limited to Tuesday afternoons for the first half of 2025 and additional days will open up from July. Richard can help you if you are experiencing aches and pains, general soreness, sports injuries, training niggles or muscle tension, as well as pre and post-race or training preparation and recovery.
All initial bookings will include a full posture assessment and testing of the affected area of the body.
The cost is $125 for 1hr. HICAPS is available so please bring private health fund card to claim your rebate at your session
